We have a drive over deck the club needs to complete by May 2024. This is at the end of the dirt donkey connector trail where it’s challenging to reach with fill materials. The weekend of April 20 2024 we are looking for volunteers to move material (beams, decking and cememt blocks) up the trail to where they will be used the following weekend. ATVs with trailers are the best way to move these materials. The weekend of April 27, 2024 we plan on setting the cement blocks and building the drive over decking. We will be meeting up the trail at Jim and Terry Lane (off Valley Road in Washington - where we have materials stored) at 9am on each day to start work. If your available to assist, please come join us.
The annual membership meeting with elections will be held onsite at 11 am. Club members are welcome to attend. Location is at the Highland Lake Association Beach in Stoddard located on Valley Road across from Stoddard beach Road.
The club applied for and has been grant in aid from the state of NH of $50,000 for this year. The funds are allocated for significant trail upgrades and improvements. Under the State GIA program we must complete Puete the upgrades and pay for materials and then submit for reimbursement . This is a challenge since the club does not have the cash flow to pay all these expenses up front. We have had a few club members who have helped with floating the club funds to cover the costs of small projects are a time while we await reimbursement . Next work weekends will be weekends of November 12th and November 19th 2022
